September 27, 2022
Ground Temperature: 32℃
Water Temperature: 26℃
Wind Direction: East (4m/s)
Diving point (visibility)
☆ Nagura Bay Coral Garden, Ishigaki Island (22m)
☆ Osaki Lionfish Palace, Ishigaki Island (18m)
☆ Kabira Manta Point, Ishigaki Island (23m)
The same as yesterday – it’s sunny!
The wind softened further, and the sea was completely flat in the morning.
What else would you do other than going for diving?
The water of Nagura Bay was amazingly clear today.
We looked around for small sea creatures for the morning two dives.
Blue-striped cave goby is a beautiful sea life that can be found in many caves around Ishigaki.
Bring a torch and take a close look – their fils are purple.
Rock cleaner shrimp has a translucent body with white and red dots.
This one also has a very bright body color.
They are very shy and quickly go away.
We often find this beautiful fish along the dark reef walls.
Zebra mantis shrimp?
As the wind shifted to the east and the conditions improved, we went to Manta Point.
One manta swam by at the beginning of our dive, but it didn’t stop at the cleaning station, and went away.
At least we saw one 🙂
Unfortunately, that was it for the day!
It is forecasted to be good weather with a very soft wind.
I hope we can see some more mantas!
