☆ Osaki Sand Garden, Ishigaki Island (20m)
☆ Nobarusone, Iriomote Island (20m)
☆ Yonara Channel, Kohama/Iriomote Island (23m)

It was sunny again!

The ground temperature was already 30C in the morning, and it was a little humid.

The wind is still blowing a bit strongly, but it is gradually shifting to the east.

As all our guests today were advanced divers, we went to diving points for experts after the warm-up dive at Osaki.

The first one after Osaki was Nobarusone, located on the northeast side of Iriomote Island.

The condition was quite rough with some swells, but we found a manta right after our entry!

And there was another one, and more…

Probably there were five of them in total.

After the mantas, we saw a school of Barracuda.

All of them were quite big, and we were able to get close to them.

We also found a school of Bigeye trevally, but this one quickly swam away.

For the afternoon dive, we went to Yonara Channel for another drift dive.

Visibility was good, and we drifted down as we descended to the cleaning station…

The bottom of the point is around 23m, and we wait on the sand area for a manta to come.

The current was nice and moderate.

But there was no manta…

Unfortunately, we didn’t see any manta at Yonara Channel today 🙁

It was a hardcore day with two drift dives.

Mantas and Barracudas… that’s good enough 🙂

Oh, we also saw lots of small ones at Osaki, too!

The long weekend for September is now over, but autumn just started!

Let’s enjoy autumn diving!
