Will I be pretty?

September 24, 2022

Weather: Sunny
Ground Temperature: 32℃
Water Temperature: 26℃
Wind Direction: East northeast (7m/s)
Swell: 3.0m

Diving point (visibility)

☆ Potato Reef, Taketomi Island (20m)
☆ Nakamoto Cave, Kuroshima Island (20m)
☆ V-Gorge, Kuroshima Island (20m)

The wind keeps blowing from the north.

But it shifted a little to the East, so the condition was slightly better than yesterday.

Today we cruised down to the Taketomi and Kuroshima areas.

The sky was clear 🙂

The first fish of the day is Hawkfish anthias.

The juveniles are pretty, and so are the adults.

This one was a big grown-up, around 10cm in size.

I love the beautiful orange color.

Black-and-gold chromis is cute when they are small.

“Will I be pretty when I grow up?”

I leave it to your judgment (lol)

Nakamoto Cave – beautiful with plenty of sunlight from above.

Lots of small crabs and shrimp.

Disco clam makes you want to dance 🙂

There was a school of Indian mackerel at V-Gorge of Kuroshima today.

It is very interesting as they swim with their mouth open, but hard to take good photos as they never stop, and change their directions suddenly.

It is forecasted to be less windy tomorrow 🙂
