Windy on the ground, peaceful under the water :-)

September 19, 2022

Weather: Sunny
Ground Temperature: 31℃
Water Temperature: 26℃
Wind Direction: Northwest (9m/s)
Swell: 2.5m

Diving point (visibility)

☆ Tokakin Reef, Taketomi Island (20m)
☆ Potato Reef, Taketomi Island (15m)
☆ V-Gorge/Turtle Paradise, Kuroshima Island (18m)

The Northwest wind stayed strong again, and it was blasting in the morning!

The sea condition was rough again, but maybe a bit better than yesterday.

It was a rough cruise to the dive point, but we managed to our first dive point of Taketomi 🙂

There were tons of Fusiliers at Tokakin Reef!

Although the water was a bit murky, we could almost go in the middle of them!

Some lucky guests saw a Spotted eagle ray down deep.

The bottom of Tokakin Reef is over 25m, and controlling neutral buoyancy is very important.

The second dive point was a white sand point.

The color of Blue-green chromis stands out in the bright water.

As the condition calmed down in the afternoon, we went to the Kuroshima area.

Kuroshima Island is only around a 20min ride down south from Taketomi and has beautiful seascape and drop-off points.

Typhoon Nanmadol (#14) went north and will land on the Kyushu Island today.

Please stay safe!
