Check out this blue sky!
It is almost the end of August, but this beautiful summer continues in Ishigaki!
Typhoon #11 is forecasted to move toward Ishigaki, but it is still far away and no impact seen yet.
Above all, the highlight of the day was this beautiful blue water!
The water visibility in some places was over 30m – comparable to what we see around Hateruma Island!
There is no shark around Shark Hole, but there were tons of Luminous cardinalfish!
Potato Reef was the second dive point of the day.
Beautiful Blue-line snappers are always around the coral reef.
The third dive point – Tokakin Reef.
There were tons of Fusiliers today.
Do you see the murky water behind the small corals?
It is a group of millions of juvenile fish.
Stay safe, and come back when you all get bigger!
Also, we heard a big bang sound during the first dive.
It was a big sound as if a big boat suddenly turned on its engine!
It was so loud that I felt the vibration, and it lasted for around 15 seconds.
We found out that there was a M4.1 earthquake around Ishigaki today, at the very moment we heard the sound!
Two Brown-banded pipefish were surprised with the sound…
“What was that???”
And today our guest completed his OWD course!
The impact of typhoon #11 is expected to show gradually starting tomorrow, and the north wind is forecasted to pick up.
