The south wind was strong today, probably due to typhoon #9 located southwest of Taiwan.

In order to avoid this strong wind, we stayed on the north side of the Yaeyama Islands today.

These areas have lots of corals, but the scenery is quite different for each location.

There are no big fish around here, so we focused on the corals and small creatures.

This juvenile Brown-banded pipefish was only around 4cm long.

So cute!

This south wind is forecasted to soften tomorrow.
