It was not a “flat” day, with a little bit of wind.
The ground temperature hit 34C, but the wind was blowing from the north and felt a little dryer and nice.
But the sunlight is very strong, and sunscreen is a must-have!
Today we cruised along the west side of Ishigaki Island – namely, Osaki, Kabira and Sukuji.
Turtles and Turkey moray, as usual.
Whipcoral goby…
Red spotted porcelain crab.
Square-spot fairy basslet of Sukuji Bay.
Reticulate dascyllus.
My favorite Sea goldie.
… and the beautiful corals.
And Mantas…?
Encounter rate has been quite low these days… hope it will recover as we go deep into summer!
