I don’t mind a rainy day in summer :-)

Water Temperature: 29℃
Wind Direction: Southeast (8m/s)
Swell: 2.0m

☆ Buddha Head, Taketomi Island (20m)
☆ Sakieda Big Arch, Ishigaki Island (20m)
☆ Kabira Manta Point, Ishigaki Island (25m)
It was rainy from the morning, and the ground temperature dropped two notches down to 30C.
It was nice and cool, and I don’t mind such a rainy day in summer 🙂
As the south wind weakened, we cruised down to Taketomi for the first dive.
Blue-green chromis can be found anywhere in Ishigaki, but the scenery here is breathtaking…
After the warm-up dive in Taketomi, we cruised up to the Sakieda area, located on the northwest end of Ishigaki Island.
And the must-see here is this coral reef!
Did you find anything?
A huge Hermit crab – probably around 20cm.
A Comet.
This fish is very shy and usually very difficult to capture the whole body.
A Weedy stingfish, upside down.
Unfortunately, there was no manta at Kabira Manta Point…
Where are you?
A hot summer day is forecasted to be back tomorrow!
