It is early summer, and the south wind remains strong.

The swells were not so high, so we cruised down south to Taketomi for a white sand dive.

The last time we’ve been here was a month ago.

Time flies…

There were lots of fish around the Potato Reef!

And the reefs were covered with Luminous cardinalfish.

The second dive was Kayama North, a dive point for seascape and corals.

Beautiful and lively corals!

But they are Fire corals, and quite poisonous.

Don’t touch them, or it will be very itchy.

The afternoon dive was a drift dive at Nobarusone of Iriomote.

And we met a big Manta!!!

It once went away but came back to the right position for pictures 🙂

We didn’t see any other big fish, but two Mantas were good enough!

Can’t wait for our dives tomorrow!
