The north wind of yesterday was a rare one during the rainy season, and the wind turned to the south today.
And the wind picked up in the afternoon, and it also poured.
Our dives today were around Ishigaki island, on the west side.
There were not many diving boats around, and we were able to enjoy the beautiful dive points mostly for ourselves.
At Yarabu Corner, we visited the mini underwater ruins (?) and then moved offshore.
The offshore reef was covered by tons of Yellow and blueback fusilier!
We also met Barracudas and Dogtooth tunas around the shallow area.
One of the AOWD course dives today was underwater photography.
There is no underwater modeling dive, but here we go!
Most of the corals around Ishigaki and Yaeyama islands are hard corals, but we do have some soft corals.
Lance blenny.
Did someone punch you??
Juvenile Stout chromis – they are growing and getting bigger!
Whip coral goby.
Can you see the eggs in its tummy?
In addition to the Green turtle, we also met a Hawksbill turtle today.
