It rained all day today, which is rare in Ishigaki.

The weather has been poor so far in April.

We tried to go up north towards Osaki, but the wind and chops were too strong, and we cruised down south to Taketomi for three dives instead.

In this poor weather our guest Bugajski has successfully completed the OWD course!

Congratulations!

Bugajski is staying in Ishigaki remote-working.

Please join us again when the weather is good!

Scissortail sergeant is very common around here, but this time there were tons of them!

Maybe over 1000?

A beautiful contrast of color.

The request was to find a juvenile Yellow boxfish, and we found it!

But it was very shy, and has hidden in the reef quickly 🙂

Do you see the black thing on the back of the goby?

It’s a nudibranch.

Gymnodoris nigricolor is a nudibranch that parasitizes the back fin of a goby.

This time of year you can find juvenile Stout chromis everywhere.

It is around 1cm in length and has beautiful bright blue body color.

Cute!

Luminous cardinalfish.

Summer is comming.

It is forecasted to be sunny tomorrow.

Finally!
