We saw a lot of young people with Kimono in town – looks like there is a coming-of-age ceremony going on in Ishigaki today, a bit earlier than most other parts of Japan.

Also it is the last day of their new year diving trip for most of our guests.

The first dive of the day was Yarabu Corner, one of the points for big fish.

We met this big Starry toadfish, and it wasn’t bothered by us at all 🙂

This Spotted moray was also big.

We also saw a big Dogtooth tuna passing by.

At the end of the dive at Yarabu Corner, this school of Barracuda came out.

We entered Osaki Purple Queen Reef at the right timing, and we were the only dive boat around 🙂

Teira batfish – all of them were looking the same direction 🙂

We were fascinated by the Giant cuttlefish for the last dive, and stayed around the cuttlefish for over 30min (lol).

We saw some of them laying eggs in between the coral branches.

It winked at me with this cute eye!

It was the last diving for Jin.

“I will be back!”

Sure, we will be waiting for you!

All the new year guests are gone, and we will be back to the normal schedule from tomorrow!
