August 22, 2021

Ground Temperature:31℃
Water Temperature:29℃
Wind Direction:Northwest (5→9m/s)
Swell: 4.0m

Diving point (visibility)

☆ Osaki Sand Garden, Ishigaki Island (25m)
☆ Osaki Purple Queen Reef, Ishigaki Island (30m)

Wind was blowing from the north in the morning due to the passing of typhoon #12, but the condition was good enough for dive cruise.

We cruised north to Osaki area before the wind started to turn.

Visibility was…. AMAZING!

Vivid orange color of Anthias look great in clear blue water.

We almost couldn’t see our guests because of too many fish 🙂

Total relaxation for Longfin batfish – getting cleaned by Cleaner Wrasse.

Spotted Moray – inside of its mouth is also spotted.

There were not many dive boats around Osaki, so the turtles were all ours to enjoy!

And there were lots of them – six? seven?

Expert divers went deep, to find this Elegant Dartfish.

Looks angry?

I didn’t Photoshop this.

It’s Violet Boxer Shrimp.

The wind picked up after the second dive as expected, so we called it for the day.

Typhoon #12 is now quickly passing the east side of Miyako Island now.

The wind is forecasted to turn south soon, and we should be fine for diving tomorrow 🙂
