Typhoon is finally gone :-)

July 26, 2021

Ground Temperature:32℃
Water Temperature:29℃
Wind Direction:South southwest (3→6m/s)
Swell: 4m

Diving point (visibility)

☆ Sakieda Big Arch, Ishigaki (20m)
☆ Manta City, Ishigaki (20m)
☆ Sukuji Bay Gurukun Reef, Ishigaki (15m)

It was a slow moving typhoon, and we were closed for five days!

And we are finally back!

Condition was a bit rough, as the south wind from the typhoon remained strong.

Water was very murky around the west side of Ishigaki…

So we cruised north to around Sakieda bay, and it was a great choice!

There was not much swell from the north, and water visibility was pretty good!

Water temperature was a notch down compared to before the typhoon.

Unfortunately our guest had to cancel the dives due to the typhoon, and today was the only diving day 🙁

But glad you were able to enjoy good visibility, and relaxing dive cruise.

Looking forward to having you back again, hopefully in better condition!

“Glad the typhoon is gone… I am going to take a nap on my favorite green bed now ♪”

“I have my own shelter, so no problem!”

“What? Typhoon? I was sleeping, and didn’t know…”

Finally met this guy!

How have you been?

Went to dive deep for the afternoon.

Close-up of a Square-spot fairy basslet.

It has beautiful fins…

Hope the condition will gradually turn better!
