Still windy.

So we tried avoiding the south wind, and cruised to the north side of Yaeyama islands – Kayama and Iriomote area.

Corals around here are fantastic!

Water temperature is a touch colder than around Ishigaki, which is probably good for the corals 🙂

 

The seascape around Nobaru area is one of our favorite dive points in summer.

 

We often find lots of Harlequin filefish around here 🙂

We found half a dozen of them in one place today.

They move around quickly, so it’s hard to take clear shots though…

 

The wind started to soften by noon, so we cruised back to the west side of Ishigaki – Osaki area – for our afternoon dive.

When we arrived, there were no other dive boats – it was a dive point charter !!!

I love this area – it is full colorful sea life 🙂

 

This southwest wind is forecasted to stay for a while.
