Lots of fish around Taketomi!

April 25, 2021

Ground Temperature:26℃
Water Temperature:24℃
Wind Direction:Northeast (7m/s)
Swell: 4m

Diving point (visibility)

☆ Potato Reef, Taketomi (20m)
☆ Submarine, Taketomi (25m)
☆ Tokakin Reef, Taketomi (18m)

Swells from the typhoon has now disappeared, so we finally cruised down to Taketomi!

Nervous but exciting to go through arches for the first time 🙂

Visibility at Tokakin Reef was not perfect, but there were lots of fish!

School of Rainbow runner – a bit rare around here.

Gurukun (Fusilier) is very common, and was covering the reef…

Bluefin trevally – my favorite♪

There were these Barracudas running over our head!

And also around half a dozen of big Dogtooth tunas swimming around the area!

We will be off for a day of boat maintenance tomorrow.

Will be back on Tuesday!
