Summer is approaching…

I know it because it has been getting very humid.

But the ground temperature is not too hot, so you don’t sweat much, unless you run:-)

Time flies, and April has started – it is the start of new school year in Japan.

As for us, we cruised down south, to Taketomi and Panari islands.

The first dive was at Tokakin Reef, the famous dive point for Dogtooth tuna.

Some of them were over 1m long…

And some of them were over 1.5m!

Check out their teeth – this is why it is called “Dogtooth” tuna!

The second dive of the day was at Potato Reef of Taketomi.

Climax of this dive point is definitely this – Blue striped snappers!

Found a Turkey moray…

… and there was this Greyface moray, right below!

We saw some Giant cuttlefish, also.

These two were working hard laying eggs 🙂

This is how they lay eggs – put their arms in between the coral branches, and push the egg in.

And here are the eggs of Anemonefish.

They are almost ready to hatch!

For the afternoon dive, we cruised down to Panari.

There was no other diving boat around! …..

But there was no manta either…

I know our guests wanted to meet the mantas…
