Our boat is back on the water from annual maintenance, and the new season kicked off!
It was sunny and beautiful here in Ishigaki!
COVID pandemic seems to have peaked out in Ishigaki for now, and we have not seen any new patients.
Tourist traffic is almost none though, and there was almost no other boat today!
A juvenile Sailyard firefish – didn’t turn to me, but as a result I could get a shot of its beautiful fins 🙂
There were lots of sea snakes today…
Milkfish at Nagura Bay Coral Garden.
We don’t usually see big fish like these, so it was exciting!
As the Japanese border is still closed due to the pandemic, all our non-Japanese guests are from Japan.
One of our guests today have been living in Tokyo for 6 years, and the other for 3.
They usually travel outside of Japan, but has been exploring Japan in the past 12 month from north to south.
How is Ishigaki??
How are you doing my friend?
Did you miss us?
“Move away! You are too heavy!”
There were three Giant cuttlefish around Osaki.
We will see a lot more in the next few months!
Another cold front is expected to hit all over Japan, and ground temperature is forecasted to drop down to 14 in Ishigaki!!!
Stay safe and warm!
