Sunny, thank you for the sunshine!
January 18, 2021
Weather：Sunny sometimes cloudy
Wind Direction：North northeast (4-6m/s)
Diving point (visibility)
☆ Ribbon Eel Reef, Taketomi (20m)
☆ Twin Rock, Kuroshima (23m)
☆ Manta Point, Panari (23m)
It was forecasted to be cloudy all day, but it turned out to be sunny 🙂
Although the wind was cool, this much sunshine is enough to keep us warm.
We cruised down south today to Taketomi, Kuroshima and Panari for three dives.
Check out this beautiful scenery of Kuroshima!
Reefs around Taketomi are still covered with tons of Luminous cardinalfish, although we see more in summer 🙂
Spent a lot of time in underwater photography today…
Yaeyama blenny is very common around here and we usually do not spend much time with them.
But check out our FB video, they are actually cute!
There was a huge Speckled stingray at Kuroshima!
Our guest approached it very slowly…
We saw a couple of Mantas from the boat, but none under the water…
So we went to Panari for our afternoon dive.
And that was a right call!
There were 5 mantas swimming around the cleaning station today 🙂
Winter diving of Ishigaki should never be underestimated!
