The wind shifted to the north, but it wasn’t too cold, and we had some sunshine♪

We had two dives around Kuroshima, and one dive at Taketomi.

Kuroshima, located around 40min cruise down southwest from Ishigaki, is a small island with population of 220 people, and over 3000 cows.

For us it is the winter diving area with high encounter rate of Mantas – Mantas come around the area to feed on plankton, and you can often see them even from the boat.

And we also encountered a huge school of Indian mackerel!

They stayed around us for a while!

As the morning two dives were dynamic dives with big mantas and big school of Indian mackerel, we went to Little Creatures Home of Taketomi for the afternoon dive, searching for some interesting macro sea life.

There are lots of interesting small sea life on each patch coral reef, and it will not bore you even if you stay there for the entire dive…

It is forecasted to rain tomorrow, but will most likely be clear under the water!
