A Warm Winter Day
December 26, 2020
Weather：Cloudy then sunny
Wind Direction：East northeast (7m/s)
Diving point (visibility)
☆ Nagura Bay Coral Garden, Ishigaki (12m)
☆ Osaki Purple Queen Reef, Ishigaki (15m)
☆ Yarabu Corner, Ishigaki (18m)
It was cloudy in the morning, but it gradually cleared away.
It was sunny and warm by the time we returned to the port after our dive cruise.
Ground temperature was almost 25C.
Our dives today were around the west side of Ishigaki island.
Visibility was not necessarily perfect, but good enough to enjoy colorful creatures!
This baby is always here 🙂
Are you sure you are comfortable?
It doesn’t loo so… if it were me I would find somewhere flat for a nap (lol)
Juvenile Anemonefish – around 1cm long.
Sea snakes are commonly found around Ishigaki.
It is safe, but I would stay away…
For our afternoon dive, we went to Yarabu Corner.
There always is some nice tide here, and you may see some big ones.
The seascape is somewhat unique, and we call it “mini Yonaguni”.
Found a big one!
There was a huge Spotted eagle ray at the bottom.
It is forecasted to be another warm day, with ground temperature rising to 26C!
