☆ Yasuragi reef, Hateruma (40m)

Hateruma island. It is a part of Yayema islands, but outside of Sekisei Lagoon, and we can go there only when the sea is calm in summer.

Condition was great, and we had strong advance requests from our guests, so we cruised down there for the first time this year 🙂

When we go to Hateruma, we usually dive around Taketomi for the first dive – as a warm up, and also to compare. Visibility around Ishigaki is never bad, but when you dive at these two locations on the same day, you know why Hateruma is so special.

Color of the water was totally different when we arrived at Hateruma, and everyone was soooo excited!!!

Check out this clear blue water! Visibility is definitely over 40m!

Day 2 of OWD course.

Everything is so easy with this clear blue water ♪

Southernmost Anemonefish castle of Japan 🙂

Lots of juvenile fish around here, too!

Here is a juvenile Twotone Tang.

This Green Jobfish was around Taketomi today.

There are many ways to enjoy this clear blue water.

Doing some Yoga…

Or turning upside down and just stare at the surface…

And of course, a memorial photo! At Hateruma port♪

And two new divers were born today at this south end of Japan!

Enjoy safe and fun dives!
