Happy new year from Ishigaki!

Weather was not great as usual in winter, but we cruised down to Kuroshima area for three dives today.

Lunch yesterday was a traditional one for new year’s eve, and so is the one for today – Ozoni (rice cake soup)!

Our guest today was well prepared for the new year’s day dive!

Always wanted to find this one – juvenile frogfish! Sooo cute!

Here is a small Map puffer. It was curled up – cold?

Hakone marathon is one of the big new year event in Japan. Here in Ishigaki, we had Taketomi underwater marathon!

A manta passed by, and also there was a Giant cuttlefish.

It was a great start of the year!

Hope to see everyone down in Ishigaki in 2019!
