Diving point (visibility)

☆ Osaki Lionfish Palace, Ishigaki (15m)
☆ Manta City, Ishigaki (12m)
☆ Yonara Channel, Kohama/Iriomote (20m)

Water temperature today was 26C. Usually ground temperature comes down first and then water temperature, but it certainly feels like summer is over, and autumn is here 🙂

The first dive point of the day was Osaki Lionfish Palace. It sounds like there are lots of Lionfish, but there aren’t (lol). Instead, there are lots of Purple queen and Anthias, and lots of macro life such as shrimps if you go down deeper.

There was a Gorgonian pandalid shrimp on Whip coral. Looks like a micro dinosaur.

Pineapple nudibranch. Btw, pineapple season of Ishigaki is over, and our desert after lunch is now orange 🙂

As Manta City today, some teams saw a manta, and others didn’t. This can happen.

Upon request, our last dive of the day was Yonara Channel, looking for some more manta. There were 4-5 of them today, swimming at the bottom.

At Yonara, Mantas can come very close…

You can enjoy some colorful soft corals, too.

It is expected to be sunny again tomorrow 🙂
