We had 50th memorial dive today for one of our guests. Congratulations!

The memorial dive was at Manta City. We have not been able to dive at Manta City lately, due to bad weather. And when we could get there, encounter rate has not been too good. So we told everyone not to have high expectation.

And when we arrived there, two mantas hovered over the cleaning station for over 1omin!

Rare shot of a Manta with a Unicorn 🙂

It rained very hard in the morning, and we could not cruise to far, so we dived at the north side of Taketomi. The rain softened later, so we were able to get to Kayama island for the second dive. Visibility was much better, and we could see lots of cuties!

Spotted parrotfish – red and white when juvenile.

Pilsbry’s headshield slug.

Lots of Orange spotted filefish.

We welcome lots of guests with the first name “Maria”, but definitely don’t welcome this one – typhoon Maria, developing around Guam now. It is currently forecasted to hit the main island of Okinawa early next week. Although it will pass around 500km away from Ishigaki, this one is huge, and we may be affected…

Please pray!
