Day by day it feels more like summer. It was 27C, and humidity was over 90% today! Hard to dry laundry, but great for diving 🙂  Our dives today were around west side of Ishigaki.

One of the sea creature we often find all over Japan is Moray eel. You can find variety of Eels here in Ishigaki also.

Number of Giant cuttlefish is declining as we are coming to the end of the season, but we had some very friendly one approaching us, asking (?) for some memorial pictures 🙂

Kabira manta point is clearly the most well known and popular dive points around Ishigaki. In order to maintain the beautiful sea life, we have local rules that all divers are required to follow, and our staffs will explain about the rules during the briefing before the dive.

Ishigaki manta points boasts one of the highest encounter rate of manta rays, but it is all up to mother nature, and there is no guarantee. Today only one team saw a manta passing by…

“Didn’t see manta today? Oh dear…”

But never be disappointed. There are variety of beautiful sea life under the water 🙂

There will be Ishigaki Triathlon tomorrow.
