The second half of 2017 has started, and it is completely summer in Ishigaki 🙂 The weather has been a bit unstable though, with a bit of sprinkle.
We dived around Osaki and Kabira area, with the first dive around Osaki Purple Queen Reef. A green turtle came to our DSD guests for a welcome 🙂
Two big Sharksuckers kept following us throughout the dive here. They usually stick around with big fish such as turtles and mantas, but maybe they couldn’t find any big fish today?
They gave up following us at the end, and disappeared…
With everyone’s high expectation, we cruised to Manta city! There was some current in the water today, but we managed to swim to the cleaning station, and waited for some long time.
One manta came from the north, and went pass by the cleaning station, without even being cleaned! What were you hurrying for???
The last dive of the day was at Oganzaki Light House, and enjoyed a seascape dive. Some of the team encountered a big Napoleonfish! Couldn’t get a nice clean shot, but here we go.
Swimming through the maze around here is a lot of fun♪ Some guests worry that they are too big to go through, but we never had any guests stuck here, so don’t worry!
Hope it will be sunny again tomorrow!
