As we had strong request for mantas, we made two dives around Kabira!
Ka-chi-bai (seasonal south wind) was very strong today, so we cruised north to Kabira area from the morning. We encounter a manta passing right in front of us at Manta Scramble, but none of them was hovering around the cleaning station…
For the second dive, we tried another manta point, Manta city. After around 20min, one manta came in and started to hover around the cleaning station!
The last dive of the day was at Nagura bay. Number of small tropical fish is increasing everyday, and summer has certainly started.
Eightband butterflyfish is quite rare around Ishigaki. Eight bands? I only see seven…
Pajama cardinalfish – we call it Strawberry pants cardinalfish 🙂
We had heavy rain right after we arrived at the port! It is forecasted to be rainy for the next couple of days, but the weather this time of year is hard to predict. North wind? Shouldn’t be bad it it’s this hot!
