Ka-chibai, the seasonal summer south wind started to blow, and the wind was getting strong from the south. So we cruised north to find some calm area, around Kabira and Yonehara. 🙂

Visibility was fantastic around the north today. Mantas entertained our guests, and so did this school of Indian mackerel.

We still have lots of nudibranch around. They are usually small, but their color patterns are stunningly beautiful.

Take a look in between the reef holes, and you will find some interesting creatures.

Yonehara area, located on the east of Kabira, is a long cruise from the city area, and we don’t go too often. The area once boasted one of the most beautiful coral reef around Ishigaki area, but was destroyed by outbreak of Crown of thorn starfish around 5 years ago. It seems to be slowly recovering, and we now see lots of colorful tropical fish.

It is forecasted to be  cloudy tomorrow, but don’t forget to bring your sun screen!
