Underwater travel companion
February 1, 2018
Weather：Cloudy sometimes rainy
Wind Direction：North (7m/s)
Diving point (visibility)
☆ Sakuraguchi, Ishigaki (18m)
☆ Miyara Drop Off, Ishigaki (14m)
In Japan we were able to observe Total lunar eclipse yesterday, first time in three years! Did you see it? Unfortunately we could no see it here in Ishigaki, due to thick clouds covering the sky 🙁
Our repeater guest from Hong Kong stayed on, and we enjoyed a peaceful private cruise 🙂
The sea condition was rough today, with a bit strong north wind. We had an underwater travel companion today – a wrasse was following all throughout the first dive!
Sakuraguchi is covered with soft corals…
If you go through a tunnel, you will see wide blue water!
Check out the beautiful body color of Sexy Shrimp!
Visibility was not perfect at Miyara Drop Off, but we saw three Giant Cuttlefish.
While looking around for some fish, we met this Green Turtle!
As it was rough and cold, we called it for the day after two dives and hot lunch.
It is now low season, and is time for maintenance 🙂 Here were are refreshing our tanks that came back from regular pressure check, by cleaning inside and repainting outside. We will work on the boat maintenance from Feb 6 through 25, and our dive cruise will be closed.
Looking forward to welcoming you again with our refreshed boat and equipement!
