☆ Potato Reef, Taketomi (20m)

Typhoon Talim is approaching Ishigaki, so we had only morning two dives today.

The first dive was around Submarine, located on the south of Taketomi. It was totally quiet, and the water was sooo clear!

Visibility was great, and scenery in arches and swim throughs were breathtaking! There were lots of Fusiliers around the shallow reef area.

The second dive was around a sand point – Potato Reef. Bastard seahorse was wondering around the area.

There was this Spotted eagle ray swimming around the sand area. Once it stays on the ground, it puffs up the sand and covers itself. Great camouflage.

A Moray eel was getting cleaned by a cleanerfish.

We will be taking our boat to safe harbor in the afternoon. Talim is expected to be very strong, but is forecasted to pass relatively quickly. If you are around in Ishigaki, please stay safe!
